Although I have written more than enough about all kinds of songs and their video collections, including Gazals, there’s always room for more. I feel that there are still readers out there, and for those who don’t like to read, you can add a read-aloud feature to your browser. I have to spell “Gazal” as “Gauzal” so it pronounces it correctly in whatever accent. I think I wrote my first Gazal when I was maybe sixteen or seventeen years old. Today, that feels like an era from the time of Adam and Eve. I don’t remember exactly for whom I wrote my first Gazal, nor do I have a copy of it. However, I definitely liked some girls back then. A few of them were in college, and some were in schools. At the same time, I started trying to write about life and all kinds of circumstances related to it. I also came to know about so many other things that were otherwise unknown to me.
Besides this, I realized that heaven or hell may not only exist after death but can also be experienced while humans are alive. Back then, radios were only available in some families. Otherwise, you were on your own with limited knowledge and awareness of everything as a whole. Since then, I’ve kept writing whenever I had time. Although I still don’t know if I got better at writing Gazals or worse, one thing is for sure: some of the Gazals written and sung by others still take me over completely. After that, I always think that someday I may be able to write such beautiful Gazals, even if I don’t understand all the words in Urdu. Because some lyricists of Gazals have explained things about humans, humanity, inhumanity, life, God, religions, spirituality, relationships, love, passion, and lust between men and women in such a philosophical way that it seems impossible to do the same for others. I think some Gazals can make humans understand almost everything more deeply and elaborately within five minutes. After that, someone’s mentality may have a jolt of twenty-five thousand volts. Looking around, who’s laughing? Hello, be serious, please, because some jolts can be not only pleasurable but also very productive, instead of deadly. Well, well, well, a few people should know what I’m talking about. For some reason, I never liked people who fed or feed themselves well by destroying others. And if someone is good with being a right version of the human and humanity, I personally don’t discriminate anyone based on their religion, state, country, race, caste, past, poverty, and richness. Because most of the time, dirty money can exist in many forms. But still, for many people worldwide as a whole, trying not to discriminate against anyone based on their religion, race, caste, skin color, state, or country may not be easy at all. But at the same time, whatever happened in the past in the name of the same may not be worth living or dying for either. Otherwise, more than a billion people should understand Hindi and Urdu languages partially or fully worldwide for sure.
But I noticed, that sometime because of the Classical Music and Raga, two lines get stretched to a point, where most of the listeners in 2017 and 2023 may start to lose the track of sense, suspense and Philosophy behind the Shair of Gazals. I mean, that is what I think. But as always, you don’t have to be agree with me at all. Anyway. Even if people worldwide don’t understand the lyrics partially or at all, you may trick their brains and eyes based on music, musical instruments, the singer, the singer’s way of singing, and the video.
